About Regional East African destinations

Asante's Air Operator Certificate covers non-scheduled passenger operations both domestically and internationally, so a charter doesn't have to stop at Uganda's border. With the right routing and fuel planning, the same Grand Caravan can reach the neighbouring capitals — Kigali, Bujumbura, Juba, Nairobi, Dar es Salaam — and, further afield, the Serengeti and Masai Mara ecosystems or the foot of Kilimanjaro.

The Serengeti and Masai Mara together host the wildebeest migration — upwards of a million and a half animals moving in a rough annual circuit, with the dramatic river crossings concentrated from around July to September.

Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park, a short hop from Kigali, offers its own gorilla trekking through the same Virunga range that reaches into Mgahinga; Kilimanjaro's foothills and the Amboseli-style plains beneath it round out the region's other classic circuit.
